Marron et Beige Trace MT200

Collection: Marron et Beige

Trace MT200 is a wallpaper that introduces a raw, artistic aesthetic, reminiscent of old walls and their delicate traces of time. Shaded, ethereal leaves and subtle lines blend with abstract spots and streaks in shades of gray, beige, and rusty brown. The overall effect gives the impression of looking at a surface that bears traces of the past, full of textures and details, like an old, weathered wall imprinted with nature's mark.

Trace MT200 is perfect for spaces with an industrial, raw character, adding depth and mystery to them. This wallpaper creates a striking yet subtle background that brings a refined, vintage atmosphere to the interior. It is an ideal choice for enthusiasts of unconventional patterns seeking style with history and natural charm.

Wallpaper installation

The wall where we plan to stick the wallpaper must be clean, dry, smooth, and slightly absorbent.

When gluing light wallpapers, make sure the wall is of a uniform color. Strong dirt, stains, pencil or pen inscriptions may show through the wallpaper.

The substrate should be primed with a construction primer. The painted wall should be washed and degreased, and then primed. All layers of old wallpaper should be removed from the wallpapered wall. If any wall damage is noticeable after removing the wallpaper, it should be leveled and then primed.

Using a roller, evenly spread the adhesive on the wall surface within the first section.

Apply thin layers of glue along the edges of the sections using a brush, to avoid excess glue leaking onto the top layer of wallpaper. This will be the place for the first strip of wallpaper. To evenly spread the glue on the edges of individual sheets, it is recommended to use a brush. The sheets have a tab, and the applicator trims them with a knife directly on the wall while gluing. The cuts are made through two layers by cutting the tab with a knife (in one cut). After removing any unnecessary scraps, the pressed connections of the sheets should fit perfectly together. Thoroughly coat the wall under the joint with glue and gently press both parts together, pressing from bottom to top like a zipper to make the joint invisible. Individual sheets should be glued with overlapping tabs.
