Bosquet Polynesie BP103

Collection: Bosquet

This exclusive mural is a journey back in time to the colonial era, where retro charm blends with exotic nature. At the center of this painting stands an impressive Creole-style building that exudes retro charm and elegance. Its intricately decorated windows and beautifully finished architectural details are a true ornament of this picturesque landscape. The area surrounding the building is enveloped by dense palm trees, adding a tropical charm to the entire scene. Sun rays penetrate through the palm leaves, casting shadows on the ground and accentuating the exotic character of this place. In the background, we see the outlines of rocky mountains, providing a backdrop for this colonial white building. The contrast between the mountains and the lush vegetation gives the whole scene a unique charm. This mural tells a story of harmony between architecture and nature, of colonial history, and the wild beauty of the tropics.

Wallpaper installation

The wall where we plan to stick the wallpaper must be clean, dry, smooth, and slightly absorbent.

When gluing light wallpapers, make sure the wall is of a uniform color. Strong dirt, stains, pencil or pen inscriptions may show through the wallpaper.

The substrate should be primed with a construction primer. The painted wall should be washed and degreased, and then primed. All layers of old wallpaper should be removed from the wallpapered wall. If any wall damage is noticeable after removing the wallpaper, it should be leveled and then primed.

Using a roller, evenly spread the adhesive on the wall surface within the first section.

Apply thin layers of glue along the edges of the sections using a brush, to avoid excess glue leaking onto the top layer of wallpaper. This will be the place for the first strip of wallpaper. To evenly spread the glue on the edges of individual sheets, it is recommended to use a brush. The sheets have a tab, and the applicator trims them with a knife directly on the wall while gluing. The cuts are made through two layers by cutting the tab with a knife (in one cut). After removing any unnecessary scraps, the pressed connections of the sheets should fit perfectly together. Thoroughly coat the wall under the joint with glue and gently press both parts together, pressing from bottom to top like a zipper to make the joint invisible. Individual sheets should be glued with overlapping tabs.
